PlayTime

I can’t believe it’s already Thursday! This has been a great week spending time with my two favorite boys!

I really missed them over the weekend, but had lots of fun in Gatlinburg with some special ladies. We shopped, and shopped, and shopped!

Colt is rolling around everywhere! We have carpet downstairs so when we are down there playing, it’s fine, but upstairs we only have a rug on hardwood floors.

The rug is getting to small, so I have been letting him play in his playpen for short periods. He loves it (for short periods)!

And he’s safe if I need to fix dinner or get something done real quick! It’s also good for him to have some playtime independently and let his little mind explore:)

So here’s some of his playtime in pictures:

We stayed in yesterday because of the bad storms, so Colt was in his play clothes:) He’s always a mess with drool, baby food, or puke on his clothes. I think I changed his shirt three times yesterday because my OCD self can’t stand it!

We had a fun, cozy day!

I’m headed to Lexington today with my Mom and Aunt Traci. They want me to tape them doing something to share on Traci’s blog.

It should be interesting because it’s right during Colt’s afternoon nap. We’ll see how it goes:) It’s always fun and interesting when we all get together!

Happy Thursday, almost weekend!

Blessings,

Courtney

Being a grandma of six and having done day care for YEARS. I am a firm believer in play pens. They are safe. There is nothing wrong with letting your baby entertain themselves in them. I had a playpen per each baby I watched. They had their own blankets, toys etc.
Believe me it is so much better than worrying about ‘where they are and how safe they are’ if you need to leave the room.
